PaprPlain is built and run by Parikshith, a sole proprietor in Bengaluru. The person who answers your email is the person building the product and helping bring your first file across.
Why it exists
A shared Excel Sheet is often the first piece of software a small business builds for itself. It works because it uses the business's own words and follows the way the work actually happens. It stops working when several people depend on it, the same facts are copied between files, and one wrong entry changes a number everybody trusts.
PaprPlain keeps what was valuable about that file and builds the missing parts around it: connected records, screens for the team, totals that stay right, and checks that stop a mistake while it is being entered.
How we work with customers
Customers are taken on one at a time so their first workspace is set up properly. What the site describes is working today. PaprPlain is commercial hosted software, not open source, and there is nothing to install or maintain.
